Welcome to the Friends of Katoomba Falls Creek Valley website

This is a new website as at Sunday 15th December 2024.

It is being created by former members of a local voluntary resident group based in Katoomba in the Blue Mountains, Australia which existed between 1989 and 2016, who successfully helped to save and protect an immediate small yet highly valued natural valley where they lived, from destruction by multiple threats.

This creek valley forms the groundwaters and headwaters downstream to the iconic Katoomba Falls in the World Heritage Blue Mountains.

This website serves to be a digital archive depository of the records of the Friends and their considerable and tireless efforts over those 27 years.
